What We Believe

At Mile 2 Ministries, our faith is grounded in the timeless truths of the Bible. We believe that clarity in our convictions helps us serve our community with integrity and love.

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible (both Old and New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our ultimate guide for faith, conduct, and truth.

2. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things, perfect in holiness, power, and love.

3. Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We affirm His:

Virgin birth and sinless life.
Miracles and divine teachings.
Substitutionary death on the cross, which paid the penalty for our sins.
Bodily resurrection from the dead and ascension to the right hand of the Father.
Personal return in power and glory.

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believing heart, and indwells every Christian. The Spirit empowers believers to live godly lives, understand spiritual truths, and effectively serve the Church and the world.

5. Salvation by Grace

We believe that all people have sinned and fall short of God's glory, resulting in spiritual separation from Him. Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received entirely through faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ—not by human efforts or good works.

6. The Church and Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Together, regardless of local denomination, we form the Church—the Body of Christ—commissioned to love God, love others, and make disciples across the globe.

7. The Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who are saved are resurrected to eternal fellowship and joy with God, and those who are lost are resurrected to eternal separation from Him.

Established in 2017, we started as two pastors with a passion for evangelism, working with high school students. But we eventually became a 501(c)3 non-profit and have continued to grow ever since, including the formal establishment of Mile 2 Ministries Kenya in 2025. When it comes to where we go and what we do, our approach is very simple - Isaiah 6:8 says, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!' " If God calls us, and he has done so many times, off we go!
